Geoff, I am using 40-11, my tourer bike has a MTB setup. I was upto 110rpm early on, it pushed me a little too close to the redline in heart rate and had to ease off ever so slightly, result dropped. It wasn't sufficient to match the lightweight riders running 50 or 52 crankset. I think speed was around 29-30 mph at that point. That's about maximum I could achieve with that gearing. I pulled them back a little later, but Tommy and Paul(bridgy) were well gone(1 minute faster), pretty much flat out for 11 minutes downhill, well slope.

Wow, not surprising you were struggling with a maximum 40T on the front, you must have been spinning like a humming bird!

Can I get Garmin virb for free to see if I can overlay my video?

I think so, just download it from Garmin web site.

Does the video need gps because my gopro is the small one without GPS logging

It might do, to sync properly, but I think you can adjust it by eye, so it might be OK without.

Don't know if many of you are turboing tonight but my windows update has scuppered my chances of joining you.
See you on Thursday probably.
Don't have my race legs yet after the weekend so went for a pootle around Zwift-land for a change of scene. Saw @Breedon on there but lost him in the crowds!

Anyone interested in a set of used Powertap G3 AMP 35 carbon wheels with power meter? Not used them too much as I bought them just before having a stroke, and then didn't ride for a year.

Will chuck in some Reynolds brake pads, including the set that came with the wheels and the ludicrously expensive blue power set I bought.

Nice way to get a great power meter with some carbon clinchers chucked in! :okay:

I'm looking at a new bike, with wheels included.:smile:
