Oh I see what you mean. The chain is oversized in length, it accommodates a 40t rear sprocket for mountain climbing, the rear derailleur isn't at maximum capacity. Hopefully I will still be able to cross chain big/big, not an issue if I cant.

This Cupping and Crosschaining, all sounds a little perverse to me!

Anyone interested in a set of used Powertap G3 AMP 35 carbon wheels with power meter? Not used them too much as I bought them just before having a stroke, and then didn't ride for a year.

Will chuck in some Reynolds brake pads, including the set that came with the wheels and the ludicrously expensive blue power set I bought.

Nice way to get a great power meter with some carbon clinchers chucked in! :okay:

I'm looking at a new bike, with wheels included.:smile:

Hi Geoff
They look like a good set of wheels but would be too expensive for me as I think they would have cost more than my bike!

well the summer cup finished and bkool haven't updated the stages they really r going down fast they just don't care

Success, I can now run 44-28 chainset with MTB Di2 8070 front derailleur-swapping out my XT M785 40t chainring for a Truvativ 44t. It works cross chain big big upto 40t on the cassette. All it took to make it work was 1mm washers for correct spacing from large to small chainrings.

Edit update. Fitting a Shimano FC M770 44t 9 speed chainring works even better, no washers needed. I've ordered some longer chainring bolts- 8.5mm to compensate for thicker mounting point. Looks factory now as chainrings have same polished scallops.

Result I can now spin at 90-95 rpm at near 30mph as opposed to 105-110 rpm. Hopefully bringing heart rate down from maximum.

Changing gearing is just as smooth as before.

Got to check the other rings for suitability, more for looks really as the Truvativ chain ring is plain black. That would suit stealthy Tommy^_^
