I tried my old Bkool unit today, and it felt like it was more in tune with other riders. Like we all seem to have experienced, uphill watts were much lower than the old days, but now consistantly very close to my power meter, while the newer unit i used last week would go as much as 40 watt under.
To my big surprise total for the ride was just 20 watt more than my power meter, so actually 10 watts closer to reality compared to last week.
Certainly didn't feel easy for me tonight, that's for sure :B):surrender::sweat::heat:

Strong ride there :notworthy:
we may have to unleash something called "AAAC" upon you :becool:.
Please Don't

I must admit to being pretty surprised myself. Initially I thought I was being flattered by the Pro acting up, inspite of me restarting it during the warm up. I guess HR doesn't lie and I was borderline red zone all the way through the ride. I did think that your group would catch me after the big climb when I only had a minute on you.

@Whorty i was enjoying or battles i had a big stitch 1km from the top of the first climb so had to ease off slightly, gaining good ground on you and only 3 seconds behind you until my back got so sore i had to ease off alot and was never able to make up the time.
I wondered what happened to you. You was gradually reeling me back in so I gave it my all on the flat/descent into the last hill, hoping I could get some time on you before you flew past me on the climb. Was surprised when you started to drop back .... stitch is a killer so makes sense now. I was in some discomfort so your stitch saved me

To be honest i was hoping you would pop, i was noticing you was having power bursts to keep out of my sight, my plan was to power into the last climb and make a run for the line or a least a sprint finish.
Maybe Saturday :okay:

Great ride, sorry I couldn't push you all the way, I left myself too much to do on the last little climb. You were so much faster than me on the downhill bits.

Had you caught and passed me I may well have gone. Keeping you behind me kept my last match burning. You dropping back seemed to keep my legs turning! I thought you might have been leaving just out there dangling, ready to jump me on that last climb. I was confused and not sure what to do!

Guys,

Now I've done three of this month's sessions and might do the first two over the weekend if I decide I'm too much of a wus to brave the cold and wind here I am trying to understand the overall league classification.....and can't ! have no idea how it calculates your position, what the criteria are or how it calculates the time, the difference, kms and stages completed I understand but also don't know what the division relates to. I have noticed commemets that bkool need to sort out the leagues, is this one of the problems they need to fix?

On a general note I want to thank you all for being so friendly and accepting and I look forward to following in your slipstreams for many rides to come!

Thank you so much

Thank you so much for replying, I'll try that next week and hopefully I can actually ride with you next week. This weekend I'm riding pre-pyrenees but still 2500m of climb each of the three days. This summer I did a six day Trans Pyrenees ride, coast to coast, west to east, 800kms and 18,000m of climb. I would be thrilled to be able to give you the benefit of my local knowledge for your upcoming trip, anything you want to know please ask.
Hi Keith

My advice when it comes to finding live races is to come on here first. Find out who is hosting or going the ride (preferably hosting). Then search for their BKOOL name in the simulater. That always works best for me.

As a side note a few of us are off to the Pyrenees next summer. So it would be great if you could do a little trip report to get our mouths watering more than they already are!

Hope you have a great adventure!
