Even if you make it, it's not optmal going from almost vomiting after a sprint, straight to tuck in the kids, I can tell youSorry couldn’t make ride tonight as kids were still awake! Look forward to making one soon
Good work all who took part![]()

Fantasic effort to catch me and Bill. Thought you were gone when you passed us.
I have heard that some of you guys come to Tour of Cambridgeshire. I am ready with a pint for you there when we have crossed the lineWC Stage 2.
All bow to the Great Dane @JacobSkovsgaard .
Obviously a bit worried about buying me some beer if we ever meet.
That was only because the hill flattered me to get that break. I knew that on a flat course I was at a disadvantage so hit the hill hard. I also wasn't prepared for how quickly that the distance to the finish dropped, I was all set to wind my sprint up at 200m to go, looked at the distance and there was 600m left, looked again seconds later and it was around 100mThought you were gone when you passed us.
Yes, going for the TT event the day before, so plenty of time to do a thoroughI have heard that some of you guys come to Tour of Cambridgeshire. I am ready with a pint for you there when we have crossed the line![]()

It's posh in Cambridgeshire.
Not sure they drink anything but PIms there.
It was impressive watching you 3 trundling along @45-49kmh for the last 15km. I was jumping about so you may have been going quickerI'm surprised about the speed we achieved in December league stage 2. I think Bkool's algorithm overdid the group ride effect a bit there.
It was no walk in the park though. My Garmin told me I got a new 20 min power record of 292 watt, which was actually about the same for the whole race, and a new HR high of 177 bpm.
So about 25 watts of Bkool fairy dust...not at all like the crazy old days.
You guys were certainly shifting along! After Bkool left me sat on the line at the start I thought I might at least hold the gap between us if I tried hard enough, but you just kept going away from me. Only Bill's ride is showing in the league but from what I can see on Strava my power was higher than you and Bill but your speed was higher (and we're very similar weight) so it shows the benefit of a bit of draftingI'm surprised about the speed we achieved in December league stage 2. Yours is approved Paul. If you or AAAC are about on Saturday I bet the quickest time will be beaten. Hopefully all the ghosts will be there to.@BILL S most of the results for stage 2 of CG league seem to be up now but I think you may have to approve mine as I have a couple of red crosses (low velocity for 32 seconds & weight change - changed up from having lowered it previously for my wife, which is something I usually forget to do!)
Thanks Bill - I do fancy another go at that stage if Bkool will behave for me!Yours is approved Paul. If you or AAAC are about on Saturday I bet the quickest time will be beaten. Hopefully all the ghosts will be there to.
