Ha! lots of posts gone missing. I think bkool are on lockdown.

Same problem with Casio protrek.

They banned me because I pointed out three (Sensational) grammatical errors in their post. It must be understood, however, whether it is a problem of the attitude of the smm or a problem of business policies towards dissatisfied users. The Ban in these cases is the emblem of their mediocrity.

I put in a request a week or 2 ago to join the handicap group on the bkool site. I'm Amateur 3 level. FTP on a 5 min test was in the high 180s. Bkool name and name for here are the same. Thanks.....

Thanks for arranging the handicap races again Geoff!

I have a small bit of work to do at 6:30 but hope to be able to make my start time! If I'm a bit late I will just start from the back of the field (and get a nice tow ^_^).

Is it worth reiterating the procedure for joining the handicap races as it has been so long since we've done them and we have some new racers? As I recall, the session starts at 6:50 with the first rider off at 7pm. Everyone else should join the session just before their start time and start cycling right on their time. Then the fun starts.

Am I in that group @gbrown ? I wasn't planning on taking part, but as you have given me a handicap (totally incorrect I should say, needs to be much bigger  ) Then I may as well give it a go, although the legs are feeling heavy following the BRVR rides I did on Sunday

On the face of it Rouvy looks just the ticket for Bkool replacement, video, thousands of miles of routes. It just need reliable servers and racing feature, I think Dean confirmed he could setup a race :okay:
Andy I hoping to set up a rouvy trial race this week with 4 or 5 of us to see how it compares to bkool and we'll then report back, but I too share the sentiment that it might be our alternative should bkool's fallibility continue.

@gbrown Geoff thanks for including me but I'm not gonna make it. I'm committed to other stuff at the moment. Please drop me off of the list, it'll lessen the confusion for the early starters when they see I'm not there. Thanks for doing this though. It is great fun to watch even better to take part

For those like me who haven't ridden a handicap before, I searched and found the instructions from @gbrown here:

I'm assuming they are still the same? It's worth watching the video that the post links to!
