I did indeed. It was hard work staying with you guys but I managed to stick it to the end. One final hoorah with the Pro before I go to the Kickr

Ahhh, I see, you drafted our ghosts, then kicked our asses on the sprint, handy knowing just what we were putting out for that final 500m Makes it easy to keep a little bit back

You could have put a bit more effort in, with TT throwing his toys out of the pram I'm getting close to making the team, and we do not want that to happen!

Good luck with the rest of the qualifiers boys.... it’s a f#cking joke because I’m training hard and coming into form. But f#ck that and f#ck bkool in general. I don’t put 4 or 5 minutes into Bridgy on my best day ever... so I’m out. It goes without saying that I’ll still be there to cheer you boys on. Sorry for all the swearing but I’m a little pissed off.

If I understand this right, your watts were way to high? That shouldn't keep you away from NC. I'm pretty sure some of your opponents is carrying 100 watt of Bkool fairy dust.

Tommy, without belittling any ones effort, Bkool is a bit of a lottery with regards to performance, so many factors can influence the way the pro operates. Just try and accept it and bask in the knowledge you might be able to help the cyclechat team get a good set of results. You know that Pep wont be complaining when is turbo flat lines at 800W. Treat it as fun, I am. If I'm picked then I will try my best and soon as its over I will be back on my Kickr and on Zwift.

I’ve calmed down a little now

Seriously though. The watts I can actually live with. I had my power meter showing ‘real’ watts on my speedo. 600w ish seeems to be 900w ish in BKOOL land. I can hit those numbers in short bursts. And my HR seemed to be around 175/180 for most of the race, which is me suffering badly. But there were times in the middle where I was putting out 200w at one point and watching the gap with Bridgy stay the same.

I know a few of you guys were watching. Did you look at my watts vs the others relative to the pace we were going. I just find it very odd.

I know what you’re saying Andy. Ecspecially about pep. But that’s why his reputation is what it is. Know what I mean?

The watts are what they are. I didn’t have a problem with what I was putting out honestly. But it’s like I’m on a rocket ship or something!
