Thanks @keithaitch for the extra 50watts your encouragement seemed to give me. Strangely enough I started the session today feeling fairly rubbish and went for a slow start and hoping to join with a group somewhere further down the field. For some reason I seemed to get a bit of a bkool superpower and soon found myself riding with AAAC and Bridgy. Eventually started to struggle though so decided to draft Bridgy's ghost instead. Never thought I'd see the real @bridgy again and nor did I expect to see the bridgy ghost again at the end. Just shows how unexpected these rides can turn out. Never boring that's for sure.

What happened at the end? You caught me back up and we were riding together then I lost connection for a bit and when it came back you were nowhere to be seen!

No superpowers for me today - that was a real struggle from the start and really hurt! Reason these races are so good is in any other situation when feeling like that I'd have given up for sure!

Yes, after I really struggled on Thursday @Whorty posted a nice message on the road and I realized I hadn't suffered alone and it cheered me up no end! I think each of the NC team members should have their own personal cheerleader, skirts optional!

I know what you’re saying Andy. Ecspecially about pep. But that’s why his reputation is what it is. Know what I mean?

The watts are what they are. I didn’t have a problem with what I was putting out honestly. But it’s like I’m on a rocket ship or something!
So use that for one day and help the Brits to glory .... No harm, just a bit of fun. Everyone in the NC has a Pro so it's an even playing field - I bet the Danes or the Spanish won't be complaining if their Pros are going too fast

And I was hanging back for you because I didn't want to do the last 1/3 on my own, I was knacked.
I put my final dig in on that last 6% expecting to fly down the other side but the resistance didn't back off and I ended up sitting up spent and just rolled over the line.
Well done Bill and Bridgy, it was tough on the front today.
Did we have a headwind or was it riding through the sea that made it so tough.

Mandatory...
For the cheerleaders or the cyclist or both, we'd get way more spectators than the Danes
