Knees are FUBAR but I don't like to mention it
No - I haven't done that yet. It doesn't look like I'll be able to make NCQ4 tomorrow so I'm planning on doing NCQ3 earlier in the day and doing the re-run of NCQ4 on Saturday. I'll then have the full set .
Please do, While I'm in the safe zone behind @keithaitch I could really do with another couple of riders in front of me just to make sure selection isn't possible

Yeah - I'm too getting worried. NCQ4 may turn into a go slow with ourselves, Keith and Bill soft-pedalling our way to glorious defeat!

Never a truer word.... Mind you, with that great big hill to go up I don't think I'll need to do any soft pedalling.

BTW are we going by placement in each race or overall time to decide who qualifies?

I was assuming overall time, which why I shipped all that time last week, Not!

With everybody going slow, I'm hoping to participate in a slow and comfortable scenic 2D ride tomorrow, sipping lattes while riding.
Sadly, I suspect there will be yet another out-of-lungs-out-of-legs experience from start to finish. :heat:

I fear you will be proven right per, the competitive devil will get the better of at least one of us,and he'll ended up in seat 5, the seat of torture.

And analysing the Finish recordings give the Finish Times (and average power) for all finishers, and hence the Moving Times can be calculated!

This table should be the same as the finish on the road.

Thanks for all the work on this Geoff.

That time is identical to my time on Strava.

I should be ok for next Tuesday. Probably won't make NC4 tomorrow but hope to make the re-run on Saturday

Well time is irrelevant in the NC (apart from the TTT I suppose) - it's all about which position you finish in. So on that basis it would make more sense to base it on stage placings rather than overall time. Whether that will make logical sense at the end of the league though I don't know! First time we've done this so we'll have to make it up as we go along!

does anyone use an ipad for the bkool sim as my mate just bought a bkool pro 2 but cant get it to work with his ipad

Carl the reason you find it more awkward to draft is that the power reading is very quick to react to the force you apply. That's why the power and speed profile is sawtooth. The Bkool smoothes the speed profile and calculated power is smooth. Overshoot happens because you get dropped quickly, up the power then fly by. A few times of that and boom, dropped.

In others words his flash turbo is crap!

So Corrected Times (Allocated Start Time + Moving Time)

Congratulations to @BILL S who won on corrected times, and to everyone who took part!
Small cuts to Handicaps earned by @Del C, @peterob, @BILL S, @bridgy and @AAAC 76C

Whorty needs a much more generous Handicap for the KICKR, as he was over 6 minutes slower.
I wonder if the watts shown are the actual watts reported by the power meter trainers, or still estimated from speed and presumed resistance by bkool?
Still, it shows how much more resistance the KICKR is giving, even on a flattish course, or just the absence of the bkool "momentum"?

And here are the Moving Times only, won by @bridgy, @AAAC 76C and @BILL S
Generally the higher watts were faster, with interesting exceptions (@peterob and @LBHIFI)

Anyone managing to latch onto the express train that is @AAAC 76C and @bridgy (thanks guys) for most of the session is bound to win on corrected times. My handicap time will suffer next time though so there's a price to pay.
Thoroughly enjoyable Geoff so thanks very much for organising for us. Also great fun to watch the vids afterwards. I'd much rather do the handicap races than the Winter Cup so count me in for next week and all future handicap races.
