I think I read Sky are one of the teams objecting to real time data, including how many puffs Froomey takes on his inhaler
Well that’s the one bit of data we already seem to have!

Yes but also don't forget that if his teammates did their work right, a great deal of that time would be at a load level even we could manage.
Only if his recall is accurate![]()
Sounds like a dodgy kickr unit.... who on earth sold you that....Slippage def hardware. I'm pretty sure the resistance is software (or loss of connection between BSIM and trainer) though ...probably happens on Pro too but less obvious there maybe?
It was a good workout but frustrating when you see riders who were over 5 mins back suddenly up the road![]()
Yes. Same belt teeth and numbering although not same brand as it's £55 via wahooThe belt you fitted, does it have the same tooth profile as the old one? It needs to be accurate. Cam belts/ tooth belts normally have a 1-2mm deflection See arrow where deflection should be. Wahoo recommend, Gates PowerGrip GT 5M 170T 15 belt replacement

Ahhhh that is where I’m going wrong ha ha!You definitely go a bit quicker if you didn’t insist on running with your bike lofted over your head!
There is nowhere to hide on hilly courses and the peleton shelter will be limited. I would expect a good amateur to be able to hang in the pack for a less demanding terrain. The average power required over the days ride is around 200-220W
I agree with you Tommy. At the first sight of a hill that would probably be like dropping a stone in the middle of the peleton. All I'm saying is that protected riders spend a great deal of the race time in a very comfortable zone.I’ve heard this before Lars but I have to say I don’t agree. Ecspecially on a very hilly course. The idea that an average amateur rider could perform in a world tour team if he’s delivered to the line is not realistic. And that’s if we’re compairing real world date too. Not real world vs turbo. And not in the middle of a multi day event with day after day racing.

I'll hopefully get a chance today to try NCQ4 as long as HID gives me time off for good behaviour from decorating the bedroom

I’ll do stage 2 first I think mate. Around 9:30 am. Then if I can get away with it stage 4 straight after, so maybe 10:30 or 10:45. I might not get away with it though if the missus, or my legs, catch on to my cunning plan. Then I’ll swallow my pride and take Bridgy up on his offer to give me a time for stage 4 in-line with if I’d of cruised down the last slope.
