Provisional handicaps for next time we run this session
I lose time on transition between gradients, say a descent to an incline, even small changes can have a big impact. The pro gives you speed into the incline, whereas with the KICKR speed is linked to power so as soon as power drops, speed follows. I probably need to work harder on gear selection and holding power through the transitions.well done on the kickr! Where do you suffer more compared to the bkool pro...on the hills only or is it equally more difficult to keep the pace up on the flats?
Last minute change of plan as I managed to sort the belt out. Next weekThought you were riding the Pro otherwise I would have joined.
Thanks, as always, for doing this Geoff
For the last year I've been using an Apple mini and haven't had any of the problems others seem to have. The only problem is I can't try Rouvy. I know it sounds like first world problems. Like @LBHIFI having to unpair from his car. Life's a bit@h.
Here are the elapsed times
Congratulations to @AAAC 76C for improving an already fantastic time, and to @bridgy for repeating his to the second!
Congratulations on big improvements for @Add and @bert1971, along with increased handicaps!

Ok, sorry for the delay but here are the corrected results (Actual Moving Time + Allocated Start Time)
As everyone started pretty close to their allocated Start Times it is the same as the finish on the road, but @bert1971 and @AAAC 76C would have been side by side crossing the line, not that Bert would have noticed!
Top 7 all within one minute!

A visit to the local bike shop, followed by the local hardware store (a real proper hardware store of the old style, on the high street, not a Homebase!) got me back on track.Really impressed with your uncoached progress Merecat.
I'm surprised too - I felt like I was really struggling last night so assumed it would be either much faster or much slower!I am so surprised that it was only a few seconds.
I thought I'd really messed with my handicap.
We must try harder next time @bridgy .

I'll wait for you and @peterob @Daddy Pig to come storming through then perhaps the four of us can catch @JJRobinson and then all work together to hold off the diesel behind us!My slower time last night means that I'll have fwends to ride with next week.![]()
I will be 30 seconds worse off too so think that will be very likelyI'll wait for you and @peterob @Daddy Pig to come storming through then perhaps the four of us can catch @JJRobinson and then all work together to hold off the diesel behind us!
might have a confessionAnd Berty 21 years my elder (32 in 1971)
