Just a thought, in cheerleader mode. If we can't access the NC rides due to password restriction doesn't that mean we can't cheer our brave guys on by painting on the road. This gives the Danes an unfair advantage. Them living a pokey little country, no offence @Brusgaard , I'm not an all bitter about your 1 second victory in January, means they can get together and get actual support. @bridgy perhaps you'd like to raise this with the organisers and ask what compensation they are planning to give non supported teams. 20 watts I'd suggest!. Am I right in thinking that painted and text messages posted by spectators are only seen by the recipient of the message.

I was hoping that Paul had organised a meet up in a shop where we could all turn up and cheer them on in person whilst drinking beer. Now I learn they’ll all be isolated in their respective pain caves, oh well i’ll still drink the beer but they wont be able to hear me cheer!

I wouldn't describe it as "unfair"! The Danes have put an awful lot of hard work into organising the whole event for which I personally am really grateful. Also, there is nothing to stop any other team getting together in a single venue to be cheered on by supporters as they have.

Having said that we'll be really grateful of your support and will be checking in here in between races I'm sure - we'll also have Geoff on board to pass on any of your "helpful feedback"!!

Well if anyone knows of somewhere that will have us I would be up for that! Unfortunately I don't! I think the store used in Denmark sells the bkool trainer so good publicity for them

To save Geoff a job, I'll tell you my helpful feedback now .... "Ride harder. Pedal faster!" There you go, my inspiration and training tactics are all yours now :okay:

No definitely not Bert.
Tonight's Chaingang is the first ever "Non PC" Chaingang event as sponsored by AAAC 76C. AAAC says he's willing to donate (for 1 year) his ladies saddle collection to the winning rider at the end of the league.
I'll be starting the ride at 7pm. Search for Bill S or cyclechat in the filters to find the ride (Not quite Madeleine).

will u guys be using heart rate monitors as last year the danes didn't we wouldn't want them knowing how hard or near the edge u r working
I will be as I find it useful, especially when I have to bear in mind I will need to pace myself to some extent to survive until the end! The Danes didn't because they were concerned it may cause interference or confusion with all 5 of them riding in the same room, which I can understand.

It's a good thought but to be honest I don't think knowing my HR will give them too much information other than I'm suffering - which won't be a surprise!
