BTW for what it's worth I think that we may have weathered the storm of losing members to the dark side and we are now starting to attract new members which can only be good for the health of the league. I have to say that I was worried that after the summer we might find it had died a natural death, that thankfully doesn't seem to be the case and I am happy to continue to do the admin work until beyond the foreseeable future!
We used to only accept memebers who had contacted here first to try to ensure a social side to the league. To try to increase participants i took the executive decision to accept all requests to join the league to try to increase numbers and then, with bkools help, contact new people to make them aware of this chat and their need to become active here so the league maintains its social side too. Hope this is Ok with everybody.

Bkool Cycling offers you the opportunity to test yourself against the Danish cyclist Daniel Lyhne of team Coloquick.
The stage, short with steep inclines is perfect to show off your skills as a climber. But will you be able to stay on his wheel?
Join us and conquer Signal Hill in Cape Town with one of the greatest promises of Nordic cycling.
We will also be raffling off some incredible cycling sunglasses and a bike cleaning kit with all participants in with the chance to win!
Remember Thursday 10th October at the Group Departure at 5 pm. In Bkool you set the limits!

Nice Warm up for you with a pro.....
I can't make tomorrow as my work are forcing me to drink beer

Yes, I got the remail too and I've now made sure it goes to my inbox, I guess it's 5pm cet, in which case I might do it as I'd then have time to recover before the chaingang league ride and as this evenings attempt wasn't my best though it did result in an EOS for @Brusgaard . However more importantly are they looking for any old cyclists at your work?

Tonight's lesson for bkoool pro users. Don't inflate your tyre on the the stand without reseating the newly inflated wheel ! If like me you don't then the tyre isn't sitting right and gets a poor contact with the rolling resulting in an impaired performance. At least that's what I'm telling myself for not being able to stay with @Brusgaard on the steeper parts of the climb tonight when I got up out of the saddle and the back wheel was moving around all over the place!

I reckon the best way to stay in touch with league members is to have the option of messaging in the Group admin page. That way, you could message out ride times/days etc from the group and all league participants receive the message on their respective page. Additionally, the same facility can be used to to point them in the direction of CC to take the p1ss out of the autobus
