Ok. Did stage 1. Horrible. Did not feel my best self (for good reasons) and performed accordingly.

A pity drafting is gone as I really could have used it now. If there is any bit of it left it requires more effort to try to catch it than what you gain from it. I liked the course though, good to have these longer ones every now and then.

I’m afraid I’m currently dragging the team down, but I might try to improve the time if I can.
Y Take it easy recover from your travels.. Don’t even push yourself on this weeks ride take it real slow.
Note to fellow green team members. Per’s team is now in first So now we are going to need extra pizza power for the downhill...

The team results sheet has been updated for @perswe recent ride and per's people now lead the classification. Only @Breedon and @JJRobinson missing for stage 1.let's see what happens with this week's generally downhill stage.
Hoping to do stage 1 Friday and the live ride Thursday or Saturday, got to get some running back in some how :scratch:

Apologies, you can't beat a bit of friendly competition :boxing:- I'm sure you will be sending me many EOS's back in return.

My extra weight gave me a good lead on the downhill section, but I can't climb, and you were catching me on the uphill section. Just glad it was only a short ride.

I've really noticed a big change - it seems a lot harder work than 12 months ago. I ain't looking forward to anything over 10% for any length of time.

Just wondering - has anyone's Fitness Level being adjusted since the last s/w update, if they have completed a session of over 30 minutes recently, if they have the box ticked in the Fitness Level tab.

I've done a couple over 30 minutes and my watts are way down on what I could achieve 12 months ago (which weren't great) and I haven't been knocked back.

My last Fitness Level update was Jan 2018 - so I thought it would have been updated to reflect my current power output.

I haven't changed mine becuase I don't want to lose my Professional categorisation which is totally false but makes me think I'm better than I am and that Ineos might call at any time looking for a replacement for Bernal.

I manually changed mine, it was set at 300 but that's when I had my classic, so I've readjusted it to 240 now I have a Neo.

I haven't updated in a year but now that it's closer to reality I probably should do the test. For my 200 pounds the algorithm seems slightly off by giving me a bit higher watts on the climbs and a bit less on level and downhill for the same perceived effort. Still it is a ton of fun.

That looks like it's going to be a tough one. Just over 10ks long and downhill apart from a leg zapping climb near the end and an uphill finish.
Sorry in advance to my teammates if I do a rubbish ride.

Also just to check because I haven't actually made the start along with everyone else. The start time is 6 pm GMT with a warm up for 10. Who's name do I search for tomorrow night and also when I search Keith for example do I type Keith (cyclechat)
Or just Keith / Shimceltic / Brusguarrd. Who else can start the rides .
