Brake adjustment on a 1938 claud butler short wheel base racing tandem.
I’m generally 3-4 minutes down on my pre-update times on 20-30 minute rides. Same output or better, but very different speeds. More realistic...unfortunately. I kinda tought I was the coming man for the Tdf. But it seems I might not be. I guess it is more fair now also. So, more fair and more realistic.Bill is about 8 mins down on a time he set previously. The new simulator is definitely harder but your ride doesn't seem right. Try again tomorrow for a comparison

Beautiful. On the 2018 tour of Cambridge I ended up with the classic bikes for a brief stretch and there is nothing prettier than those works of art on wheels.Brake adjustment on a 1938 claud butler short wheel base racing tandem. View attachment 498882
Yeah @Boredman at least a couple more times to get an average..
I hope to do L'eroica on it in a couple of years when my wife has retired and we have a bit more time. My parents toured the dolomites on it in 1948.Beautiful. No wonder you’re such a strong rider. Some new genetic studies are showing you can inherit epigentic changes from your parents. They must have turned on some endurance genes.. I think mine gave me the overeating genes..I hope to do L'eroica on it in a couple of years when my wife has retired and we have a bit more time. My parents toured the dolomites on it in 1948.
Sounds like you are suffering the same problems as me with Bkool. I know they say it has made it more realistic but for me, the power was realistic - It mainly matched my power meter in the real world. Now I am on the limit to be nearly 100w down which is a bit disheartening lolBit more consistent than mine @Brusgaard ... my trainer is all over the place since the last update, ( I may have mentioned it before?). I can crest a climb, the watts drop, the speed increases however, I’m still grinding up hill for anything up to 5 seconds.. couldn’t achieve 200 watts today, well barely...
Me n @Goldwolfie are there or thereabouts and he walloped me by 4 minutes over 10 miles.. mind you, he is keeping quiet. He may have been training hard or borrowed @Whorty’s inhaler?
I'll send a couple more shots today when I've finished cleaning it. The will jerseys we have but the bottles are modern as are the cages. I like riding out but I'm not a vintage nut.No wonder you’re such a strong rider. Some new genetic studies are showing you can inherit epigentic changes from your parents. Again a beautiful bike how about a few more shots?
Edit: you’ll need to get those antique water bottles with the cork and the wool jerseys
He may have the same EPO as me tooBit more consistent than mine @Brusgaard ... my trainer is all over the place since the last update, ( I may have mentioned it before?).
