Oh wow, all three of us in that group @AAAC 76C @Rod McG got the same time, I thought I'd nicked it at the end, I guess not.

Pre-race plan was @Brusgaard and @AAAC 76C would form a formidable pairing so I wanted to try and hang onto their coat tails as long as possible then fall off the back and just try and stay ahead of the next group. Sounds like @AAAC 76C wasn't firing on all cylinders though. Brusgaard just shot off as usual and I wasted a a lot of effort trying to catch up. Rod and AAAC I think had paired up and swept me up, after a couple of failed attempts to break out I sat back and settled in for the drafting. With 30secs to go I hammered it and thought I'd done enough, wish I'd gone a little earlier.
Still that was great, some good opportunities for a bit of tactical racing. ^_^
My exhaust was blowing and one intake valve was stuck open!

On a completely different subject which we have visited before but of like to revisit... What tyres are we using?
I have a couple of spare wheels, mavic kysirium since you ask, dressed with a red Vittoria trainer tyres.
I'm keen to try my really good wheels on the trainer, surely their vastly superior hubs would help resistance wise, can't see the aero of the 58cm rims having much effect as the fan is pointed at me, but I'm loathe to risk the conti 5000 which I fear would be ripped to shreds by the roller.
Comments?
I have red Vittora Turbo Tyre and I find it slow.
I just buy decent smooth tyres that have the best possible inflation pressure.

My race plan was carried out starting yesterday with having a pizza and about 1 litre of cola. Ate most of a leftover pizza and drank another 0.75l of cola for lunch today and topped it off with an icecream as dessert. Isn’t that the proper way to eat for a downhill stage?

I did shoot off like usual, but was soon caught and overtaken by @AAAC 76C and the bots. Caught up with him again, and when the bots caught us, I quickly latched onto them hoping for some draft.

However, they didn’t seem to want me drafting them, as they stayed behind or beside me 99.56% for the remainder of the stage. It was as everytime I slowed down to let them pass, they did the same.

Has it always been like that? I never used them bots much, as ghosts were better, when you could draft them.

In the end 12 seconds slower than Thursday - which is OK when (almost) no draft was available...

I used the same as outdoor, Vredestein Fortezza Senso Xtreme Weather. Necessary in Denmark with all the flintstones, and the ones with almost no tiredust when used on the Pro. Tried some older Michelin and Conti4000, which were fine, but made a mess... The same with the blue Schwalbe Insider, which also gave me less speed, probably due to less grip on the roller.
Thanks for the feedback. The weather here is good enough to negate the need for winter tyres but I think I might try one of yours and run it on the winter, November to March when I'm not looking to be flying outdoors and do the majority of my trainer rides. Tomorrow I might try the conti and see if it explodes!

I have read some reports that the Conti 5000 easily gets cuts here in Denmark, even more so than the Conti 4000S II they were supposed to improve on. Maybe improvements have been made in rolling resistance at the expense of longevity?

It can't differentiate by less than a second, but watching I think it was Andy, AAAC and then rod on they line. I actually thought you'd gone too soon Andy but you held on.
looks like exact same times.

I'll tell you in 5000 kms! Or sooner if the answer is as you suspect. I think it's very hard to detect any difference in things like the rolling speed of tyres there are just too many other factors that can come into play, like Mars bars! All I do know is that my set up, wheels which definitely do make a difference and the 4000 or the 5000 allow me to hold my own on the flat with the big boys in the group who usually ride at between 32-35kph average and take my turn on the front way too often and that's good enough for me.

Seems like you had a couple of smart bots who make you do all the work and a spurrer who you can sit behind y but who of you overtake will then gap you and it takes a big effort to get back on their wheel. Try a fun set up of a dozen lapdogs and have your own team of which you are the leader and you can just sit behind them. They will also catch you if you accelerate away from them and repeat their domestique function. I usually add a couple on non league rides, in case half way through I just want to sit up and do the kms.

The lapdogs recently have disobeyed me and buggered off,

I think the last update messed up the bots. I assumed that if I ride at 1.0 tje bots, depending on their function would be around (esp the lapdogs) but the last couple of rides they have not been anywhere near me. Either way up ahead or several minutes off. So I wonder how they are set up by bkool. Maybe it’s just my trainer that is coming of age, not agreeing with the sim.
