yepDid anyone get the big bumps near the start. Felt like I was on my MTB in Dalby forest going over the bumps. I took some good jumps though, but had to look away from the telly. Made me feel 🤢.
@Brusgaard you really pushed me. I wasn't trying to stick on your wheel it's just that I was at my limit and couldn't stay ahead for long. Really enjoyed working with you though and saw you was only a handful of seconds behind when I crossed the line. Not sure what my HR was when I finished but I thought I was going to have to pick my heart of the floor after it popped out of my chest.
😆🤪yep
i was sea sick
Yes I am. I'll let you know how it goes but I noticed that the old trainer tyre I took off was cutting up.
Think I just hit 182, maxxed out.Andy, we'll done. Thought I'd try to keep the gap short enough for the last climb but as I tried to reel you in my HR went to 180 so I eased off, didn't want to die and there will always be another opportunity to beat you!
My ranking table didn't show @AAAC 76C either, it was you then Mark and Brusgaard switching places constantly in 2nd/3rd. Weird one tonight.Sorry about the start guys. I didn't realise that you actually have to start it even if you as starter have stopped pedalling, it used to just start automatically after the countdown. Live and learn. @AAAC 76C I didn't see you at all and yes the bumps were sick inducing, I switched to video and then back again and it had calmed down. @BILL S the tyre doesn't shed and I think it's good for a few free watts, I'm gonna put it up to 160 psi and see if it explodes! I'll go and update the team sheet just as soon as I'm out of my wet kit, @AndyMacca and I had a nice little drafting club run after the main event!

Yes, what a shame we didn't really know where each other were. I now realise that you were the phantom black dot on the profile but you weren't appearing anywhere on the leader board. Oh well I might have to try to get the 5 seconds on Saturday but it will be after 110kms on the tandem so I don't think I'll be in any state to better tonight's performance. Chapeau. Here's to another great battle in next month's league.@keithaitch
dont you give up!
you hounded me like an injured fox
you disappeared before the hill in the middle and all i could see through my purple haze was 'gap' so i chased up the hill hard to get you before the descent but i could not see you
i resigned myself to pacing myself home at lless than 4 secs and relaxed on the descent
the haze cleared and i realised i was in front
so it was back to digging in and retaining a gap
well done!
