Don't think I will be able to participate in many rides unfortunately. My shifts have changed now post c19 to accommodate meal times , so consequently working later 😭😟. That is unless I find something else.
There is always the Saturday rerun.

I could delay authorising attempts for a while, to keep you in yellow for longer for the right inducement, but you'd have to promise not to drink in the last 20 kms of any ride (see Alaphilippe today!), which means no drinking for you!
When I saw that it sure seemed harsh. I read about one ultra marathon runner who use melted ice cream in a camel back. So that's going to be my Strategy, even for a 20 minute ride.

@Bored Man ,
Over 4 minutes for your first ride back and on a new trainer!?

Great to be back and racing. New trainer is great and doesn't leave me miles behind at the start. I thought the group might split on that little rise. I was thinking of riding with you, @AndyMacca, giving it a little go with about 3kms to go just to see how you were and then putting the hammer down a full km from the end of we were still together. However you seemed to be testing me about 6 kms out and so when i drafted past you i just went for it to see if a could get a gap and i then just had to make sure i didn't relax and that you didn't come back at me at the end.
Great to see everybody agsin, @BILL S will be back in sure and @perswe when the weather turns on Sweden and I'm sure the other usual suspects too. A good winter of pain awaits us all.

Thank you for the welcome back my friend. I enjoyed it but my lungs n ass are a little sore.. I love the trainer. My old pro had an awful lag.. this is quiet and responsive. 👍
Yes, I'm really impressed with my kickr core too.

Yes I figured you were hanging back with me with a sprint finish in mind and knew you'd mug me so I thought I'd see what you did if I pushed a little but you just ran off and there was nothing I could do. I think I could've slacked a bit more at the start to save a bit for the 2nd half but it seemed like everyone was pushing like crazy and I got caught up with it. @Brusgaard put in a huge shift in the first half, pulled everyone along.

Definitely good to be racing again, Bkool isn't the same without it. A few in the local CC have trainers so I might see if there are any takers there too.

Photo finish for 3rd place. Despite @BKIain winning on camera, the jury caught him grabbing a bottle within the last (and first) 20 km and his penalty was a relegation to 4th place in the final ranking.

I'm sure my feed had me chasing you, but I could have been seeing things at the end! I think you did most of the work after catching me up again so fair do's.

Hmm.. Yes, you can never really trust what you see on screen. The same goes for Zwift.

I lost the group at 7.8 km when my son got home from football training, and thought that was the most opportune time to tell me that he had scored 4 goals in the practice game they played, despite only sleeping 2.5 hours on his school camp last night.

Tomorrow is real game night, so I will have my revenge shouting something like "I came 3rd", when he gets the ball. :evil: Or maybe not... :smile:
