nice one @perswe
i thought you pipped me on the line
my trainer latency was a two edged sword and left me looking for gears as we crested climbs and you would walk on by leaving scrambling to get your wheel again
the 56/11 worked a treat on the downhills though and i could actually ride through with you skiers on the steep slopes
Well played @AAAC 76C ! You passed me at exactly the right place! You clearly were ahead of me by at least a wheel.

...but the all-seeing Commissaire noticed your veer to the right where I was trying to pass you. So I’m afraid you will be relegated to second place.:becool:

you need to watch the approaching profile and spin up before the steeper sections and then stay in the blob
:cycle:
Or you can put out 19w/kg to get back on to @perswe I saw you ahead of me do that and thought, whats the point we should all just go home 😄

Looked like a really good battle up front, thought Per had it for a bit.

I got dropped but managed to get back into the mix after the blob shattered. Good fun as usual. :heat:cheers🍻

Bad news... My Neo broke tonight😭😢😭😭 Started a rubber burning smell and lost all resistance. Just been on chat with Garmin and they were very helpful so crossed fingers will be able to play again soon.

Hope you all had a good ride tonight

no not me...that was @AAAC 76C ...I maxed out at 10w/kg for a few seconds going into the 15% wall...but 10 is obviously not very realistic either....but it seems with the wahoo I'm able to produce the 800+ watts for a little bit...which means you just have to train harder @AndyMacca

Tell me about it! I'm getting closer but still have no way of catching once I'm dropped and can't increase the cadence beyond 127 so when it goes down steep I'm spat out like unwanted chewing gumj.
I bigger chain ring.
I struggled to find on for a compact but if your chainset has a 130mm bolt pattern they can be found quite a bit cheeper but it does mean faffing with your front Mech.

Your right. I just looked at my stats, I can't say I looked at them much in the race as you need to concentrate on the wheels but there are some real ridiculous transient spikes in there. No wonder I left you guys behind.

Yep it was @AAAC 76C and his 56 teeth  shredding rubber. Seriously impressive!

@perswe I shall be training hard for the re-run. 🍟🍔🌭🍕🥪🥙🌮🥘🍰🎂🥮🍻🍻🍻 Next time I'll draft you till the sprint and do 801w :becool:

@berty bassett after your name change i see that there are in fact two of you in the league, hoe scary is that! Your combined time for the two stages is 48:22 which puts you fifth, 42 seconds behind @AndyMacca.

Yes i could try to fit a bigger front ring but it would mean a lot of faffing with di2 and as I'm still doing 3/4 days in the real world and the 52 big ring is my climbing ring i don't think it's worth it. I'll just suffer (in a different way) once a month.

how on earth do you add friends in bkool !! i cant find it !

Go to @keithaitch 's profile page and then follow the guide below. That will give you a list of most of us currently in the league. I'm sure you can add others too, but couldn't find where to do it, except where you have to write their e-mail address and send them an invite. If the user allows invites, there will be an INVITE button below their avatar picture on their profile page.
