Anyone here know much about RGT? I Ztried to get mine set up but my rider doesnt move when I pedal. Anyone any ideas?

Remember you need 2 devices to run RGT. A screen device (computer) and a control device (phone). Your trainer must talk to the control device, probably using Bluetooth... Pretty sure that won't work with a BKOOL trainer!

Edit: Seems like you CAN pair it using ANT+ on the screen device.

Yes you can. Just join some group rides that aren't races, and you can just keep pedaling at a comfortable level and enjoy the draft.
Not many of those on BKOOL though...

I need those longer rides to prepare for RW rides, which in 2020 was much shorter distance than what I used/wanted to do.
I need to work on my core muscles for real world rides. The few I did last year pointed out that big weakness. Anybody using a rocker board notice if it helps? I've ordered fenders for my older bike and plan on getting out, but the shed is so much more convenient on these short cold rainy days.

On my phone I had to click on the power tab to re-pair every time.

You can use the map feature looking under sessions. Looks like about 50 rides.
Is your brother Fred, in the league?

Thanks, I was mainly going too look for users in Iceland. My brother just got a trainer recently so hes just getting to know Bkool so maybe he will join later 😁

Hi Bill, as has been said, you install the screen app on the device you'll be using to view your ride, and the phone app on well your phone. The control is all done from the phone, ie pairing with turbo, HR, etc..

Hi Kipster. Thanks. I'll try to get it better paired.

Thanks Randy. I'll try that again too.

Thanks Brus. I guess it must be a pairing issue. I thought maybe someone had a similar problem. It certainly seems to see the bkool turbo, as you said..

Thanks all. Its now working fine. Although it had seen the bkool in the connection setup there was another screen where it said the bkool was not connected so just connected there and now it works.

Those wanting to try RGT should be aware that there is a known bug: if you don't enter your date of birth the bodyweight you enter will not be transferred to the screen app. I may have missed something but the only way I could enter my DOB was to step backwards, one month at a time. At my age it takes a while!

Yes I'm 40 years younger on RGT!

i believe if you use another platform such as zwift or bkool , rgt loses connection with everything and you have to make sure other platforms are totally shut down before using rgt again , if you only use rgt then it stays connected - thats my experience anyway
you also have to make sure that your phone and other device are on the same network
i wont waffle on about rgt but its a good idea to use it for a week to make an opinion , i like it - as well as bkool not instead of bkool
i cancelled zwift this week
