The dog made me late. He had a lot of last minute peeing to do. Evidently @Goldwolfie doesn’t appreciate the scenery.

Blaming the dog is a classic. Our dog genuinely ate my daughter’s homework last year. She’s also ate several of my shoes and a remote control amongst other things so I assumed she was going through a tick sheet of doggy cliches at the time. Taking a dump on a dining room chair showed a certain level of originality to be fair.

There was a bloke during the race earlier who was pumping out some quite unrealistic watts. Do we care? Or should we just ignore them? I guess they’re just random people in the end.

I think just ignore them. Unless its me then it's legit. some if the people on trainers without power meters look way too fast. I think they have a little note under their name that says classic trainers. Or are you talking about @Breedon and @berty bassett ?

You are not wrong Randy. I've done that stage a couple of times and beat my previous best on Thursday by 40 seconds and I am still recovering. Besides I had to watch the end of the Rugby, as we don't often get one over the All Blacks.

you do occasionally get someone doing ridiculous w/kg
I got passed on one course by a bloke constantly doing 8.5w/kg , this happens a fair bit when its a free ride , its possible to turn reality down on turbo or to reduce weight on hilly course ,both give the same results but in races its usually policed , in bigger events youre booted out for reducing turbo or if your heart rate isn't there/ doesnt match a normal effort also they check weight changes and theres no shortage of people willing to bubble a cheat , thats what I like , if someone looks like a cheat in a big event then they are booted out and results are changed to suit

Thanks. I just did a Bkool hiit but yours looked way better.

The last block you probably won’t finish don’t worry skip it to cool down, keep doing the workout till you can finish it all in one go when you can then make it harder till you can’t finish the last block again then repeat till you can finish the workout in one.
This is progressive overload just something I’m working on

I just dipped my toe in. It looks good. I’ll try it tomorrow.

Edit. Did you get a puppy? The black dog on Strava acts like a puppy.
