I had that on MTB once when my front wheel jammed in a rut and launched me over the bars, but somehow I landed on my feet and just ran down the hill away from my bike!

I did it another time and faceplanted ....

Been there, done that ?..amazing how you can do acrobatics when you least expect It.

On Friday I spent that briefest moment remembering that the thing that I'd meant to do but kept forgetting was to tighten up the cleat bolt on my right shoe before it loosened sufficiently to let the cleat turn rather than release....

Nice and mild in Wilmslow on Saturday so no risk of ice but new tight cleats did for me. T junction, traffic forced a stop.....down I went onto the pavement. Despite falling to the left, I cut my right hand. No idea how I managed that
