Been a great summer but I now accept it! I cannot stop the progress of winter.
No doubt @Drago sleeps in a ditch all through winter but I give in.....I am officially a whimp

There's no enjoyment in crawling out from under a thick duvet at 5am, like i did this morning

No no. You didnt see my follow up. My winter duvet is 3.5 tog and my bed is in the garden.

With the fire on 24/7 I need less covers in winter than I would in the summer.

Still got the summer duvet on and I'm still having to dangle a leg or an arm out when I'm too warm. Meanwhile Mrs Gti is complaining and saying it's time we put the winter duvet on....

We have a 4 tog duvet on all year around and with the bedroom window ajar about 6 inches and both as naked as a jay bird oh and the heating is not on yet

We don't have a winter duvet, we just put a blanket on top of the duvets, we use two single duvets on our double bed, we put the blanket on about three weeks ago, I can't sleep if the beds cold.
