Was the plane landing then or was the incident prior to take off? ;)

The New York Post says this....

The Paris-bound A380 had 485 passengers and 25 crew aboard. The Canadair jet, which had just arrived from Boston, had 52 passengers and four crew.

You would REALLY have to go to Specsavers to hit this one - and not a hardhat in sight, particularly at 5.54!

Oh, and have you ever seen a Lightning at a bus stop??, a housing estate and the motorway?? well, you have now!

I just wonder what the conversation was between the policeman and the woman at 3.35:

That is fantastic! I liked the innovative Leylandii pruning attempt... The whole thing was suberbly barmy.

And I enjoyed the two coppers mugging for the camera with the missile...

I love Lightnings. Another of those planes that looked exactly how the future ought to look, but is now 'out of date'.

All that effort just to move the plane from the far side of the airfield behind the Eastern hanger to the entrance 150 yards away, though Airfix had a few issues making the full size display bracket for it.

10 minutes unbolting and it's flight ready!

Although it's not there any more, I know...

We rode over the Pont St Nazaire last summer and ended up riding past the Airbus factory for some time (it's a big place!) I was most disappointed that they didn't have an A380 onna stick.

You can take that Emirates abomination away from the Bath Road Side of Heathrow and give us back our lovely Concorde!

Anyway, talking of Heathrow, get your eyes round this real retro gem, and not enough planes about for there to be a collision either (remember? the original theme of this thread?).

From the days when flying was for the select few, including baby elephants!

Please do tell me how to embed, I tried it all last night and it still didn't work - I must be being really colossally thick!
