Dynamo ‘Training’ - means I’ve got 1/2 the total points I got last year - in this June alone.

And one of those was this Morning. Must be my 100th Sunrise of the year I shouldn’t wonder…….

About the same miles as the Dynamo - on this Milestone at Beccles:

Another really enjoyable stretch of the legs. I’m loving life on 2-wheels right now 😁

I only took up cycling longer distances in my fifties , I remember hearing about the Dunwich Dynamo when I was younger and never thought I would ever be cycling 100 miles in one ride!

Did you enjoy it ? The food stops, the night riding, the atmosphere, the fact it’s a ride not a race make me think this is a little ‘unique’ perhaps……

Sorry I didn't mean did the Dynamo, but have done other 100mile rides, the Ride to the Sun most recently - they are usually good fun, sociable and good atmosphere (much like many sportives). Take it easy in the 1st half and you will be fine for the rest of it. I find short stops every 20miles or so give your bum a bit of a rest from the saddle, even for a few minutes.

Another top tip ! Shall we now call this tactic:

“Regular (Combined) food and buttock-breaks” ?

Sounds a winning formula to me 😁

28th June: 60.64 miles - Day 1: Land's End to St. Austell. Yes, Phil will castigate me for not doing the extra one and a half miles, but this was tiring enough as it is! Plus the route was chosen for me by the company
I had noticed that distance 😤 on your Strava ,I think I'm going soft considering what your doing I let this one slide 😁

Well done @Jon George on being the 1st poster for July and 2/3 of the Suffolk massive on getting rides in on the 1st . I'm off the mark with a standard loop out to Upton an after dinner start due to attending an ex workmates funeral this morning the ride helped me clear my head as his death was tragic and unsuspected

The first records I kept (from 2012) tell me that I was doing this distance in just under two hours - and, from what I can remember, it didn't feel like I was pushing at all. And now? Age is certainly taking its toll: five minutes short of three hours. ^_^ As if to compensate, I hurried inside when I got home, like I was an excited teenager, hoping I would be first to post this month. I may have secretly punched the air.

The sky at Felixstowe was a tad like The Simpsons.
