That is the emoji for a cyclist who gets very absent-minded with old age and decides to put off his monthly 50 km ride for another day, having temporarily forgotten that February only has 28 days!!

Looks like I will be heading over to the Lunacy Challenge instead...

I wasn't thinking straight due to lack of sleep! Bed at 04:00, asleep at 05:00, woke again at 08:00, dozed off at 08:20-ish, awake again an hour later dozed off... Gave up at 11:00!

I had planned to go out and it was dry, but I didn't feel like doing anything other than rest.

Sunday afternoon's forecast was looking ok so I could get my February ride in on the 29th...

It isn't the end of the world - I was having a rough winter anyway so this change will suit me. It is why I suggested the Lunacy Challenge in the first place!

I will still look in here regularly.

And now... I need more sleep - I only went and woke up after 4 hours again.

Probably also the joy of having one of those ‘Retired Calendars’ 😉 See there’s no chance of me mixing days up. I’m either selling my Soul to the Corporate World. Or I’m off and enjoying life. The two are quite distinct. With one definitely negatively impacting the other 🤬

Yes, I even forget what day of the week it is these days!

I only binge watch streamed TV now so I am not even synced by when my favourite shows are on.

I am about to give up trying to get back to sleep for now. I will get up, go downstairs, have something to eat, plan my day, then... doze off on the sofa before actually doing anything!

I will treat myself to an easy 90 minute turbo trainer session this evening and try to get back out on my bike next week.

Well done @sevenfourate first poster for March ,I'm pretty sure the notification on my phone went off as you posted was just about when I thought about getting out of bed . I'm off the mark as well with a standard loop out to Odstone which was altered to avoid a flood

Back from the Golden Wedding cruise last week, managed a 40 Km ride yesterday to get my legs moving then out this morning for a VERY windy 50 Kms ride. Still in.

If it is any consolation, I nearly made the same mistake. It was just by chance that it came up in a work conversation that Monday was 2nd of March, this made my brain click that a ride on Sunday would not be in February.

Late in posting - been out of circulation for a few days - but I did manage to squeeze a ride in on the 27th.
