Having riden a lot of Cornish hills I'd be tempted to let that slip but it's only day 1 not day 12 get the extra miles in 😁

My Son is first group out: along with 42’000 others at the Manchester Marathon Sunday. So I’m away from early tomorrow until very late Sunday supporting the prodigal sprog…
So: took the opportunity to stretch the legs this Morning before work. Very pleasant it was too 👌

Currently sitting in a waiting room - for my Wife to come out from Cataract Surgery. And rounding up the troops by WhatsApp - for a ride tomorrow: while I sit here…....
Couple of the ‘lads’ can only manage 15-20 slow miles tops - so it’s a bit of a logistical / route nightmare to keep everyone happy: as we’re not all local to each other either.
So……means I shall probably end up going out early, getting 10 or 12 miles (?) done. Then bike to the first meet point; and do whatever loop people’s arms, legs, knee’s or backs allow accordingly 🤣…..whilst getting myself to the magical 50km mark with the ride home - in order to snag another point 😁
It won’t burn many calories and I / we’ll not be creating much of a buzz on Strava I suspect - but the Weather should be superb, the company good - and the thought was to head up the Coast, which I haven’t done for some time.
Wish me luck keeping everyone happy 🤣
