A stream of Starlink satellites went over earlier tonight, maybe 30 or more that I saw.
Very clear skies as well, lots of stars visible so early.

I missed them but had a quick look at Jupiter, then just as I pointed at the moon I saw the sillouette of a plane cross straight across the centre of it with it's red light flashing.

I'm easily pleased. 😂

High aurora activity predicted last night, coupled with plenty of cloud cover... it's always the same.

Saying that, a few weeks back i woke up to see an aurora photo on FB taken from Heysham, when the predicted activity wasn't particularly high.

Our north facing garden has some high bushes and a house in the way, but I could just about see a glow low in the distant sky, first time I've ever seen the aurora.

Cloudy as tonight round our way , last night was clear but I wished I’d gone out for drive up the hill a bit a the aurora was on show !

How many times do you get clouds when it's only 3 degrees?

I started in clear daylight and when I'd finished I looked up and there was a thick blanket. 😂
