I think modes are a step too far to be worrying about at the moment, just getting my head around the 5 positions, and being able to incorporate them into a solo, learning where to start depending on the key, and following the chords, is more than enough at the moment
Apparently, the sculptor who made THIS is a massive Lemmy fan!The good Lord, our saviour Lemmy Kilmister, may his immortal soul rock the ages, was a massive Beatles fan.
I was also of that mindset until I made a loop that was vaguely reminiscent of FZ's Black Napkins... C#m and Dmaj.
The C#m pentatonic scale didn't quite fit as it has no D and Dmaj pentatonic has no C, which is when i realised that i had to think about modes in order to play along to those two chords.
