don't be a muppet like me and buy a large bottle, only to find it has a short shelf life once opened. The small bottle should be plenty... and don't pierce the foil until you need to.

I just need a small amount, however it seems the only places that sell it are Countryside Supply Shops/Gun Shops, Even Mr Bezos can't supply it, which is surprising.

Yes that's right, I'm surprised it's not more readily available in DIY retailers, you can get Tung & Danish Oil, but I think it takes an eternity to dry

i did, £10.60 from a gun shop, dropped perfectly as my first job on Monday was about 1/2 a mile from the shop

Can anyone on here recommend any apps for writing music notation and TAB? Conversion to MIDI would be a bonus. Android or Windows for now but hoping to get an iPad at some point soon.

The finish on the neck is coming along nicely, 6 coats of Tru-Oil and it's just slightly more glossy than a satin finish, hoping to keep putting a few more coats on the headstock to get a more glossy finish at that end
