Just a straw poll, really. Mine is Piano
If anyone here plays an instrument, and assuming that they enjoy playing it, they are likely to nominate that instrument...
Based on that line of reasoning, I'd have to say 'piano', too.
Maybe a 'cello, or, on a larger scale, a "proper" organ such as those at the Royal Albert Hall or (for the benefit of those who don't live in London) Liverpool (Anglican) cathedral. I really enjoy getting my hands on a swell manual!!
That's two instruments, make your mind up!
Guitar. Can't play it, but love the sound it makes!
Bass guitar (played by Mark King)!!!!!!!
Ok. I'll go for the organ, then!!
How's the one in York Minster?
my other half says it's the pink oboe!
Yeh i know: both are so insignificant on their own but together they are a mighty combination
Triangle. I can play that.
One of the most difficult instruments in the orchestra. It stands out a mile when you DO play it .. but .. 196 bars rest then .. oh sod it, I've missed my entry ..
I love the piano and the violin, but the violin just edges it.
No other instrument can match the range of human emotions like the violin can.
Guitar, specifically an electric one, played very loudly by someone who means it - Hendrix, Frusciante, Marr et al, as opposed to someone who is just showing off - Vai, Satriani, Malmsteen and other such wanketeers.
Separate names with a comma.
