If anyone here plays an instrument, and assuming that they enjoy playing it, they are likely to nominate that instrument...

Based on that line of reasoning, I'd have to say 'piano', too.

Maybe a 'cello, or, on a larger scale, a "proper" organ such as those at the Royal Albert Hall or (for the benefit of those who don't live in London) Liverpool (Anglican) cathedral. I really enjoy getting my hands on a swell manual!! ;):biggrin::biggrin:

I love the piano and the violin, but the violin just edges it.
No other instrument can match the range of human emotions like the violin can.

Guitar, specifically an electric one, played very loudly by someone who means it - Hendrix, Frusciante, Marr et al, as opposed to someone who is just showing off - Vai, Satriani, Malmsteen and other such wanketeers.
