The biggest dangers on the urban commute

Locally, probably dogs off leads. Once I'm away from the coast there's no real danger beyond what's already been mentioned.

They look like the sort of places where those greedy sods in Parliament would live so maybe they ought to be called the 2nd Home Counties.

Ah, but they're the only homes of ordinary workers who can afford not to live in that den of villany and commute in, hence the term, according to some.

The peed off worker in his less than fabby dabby 4 x 4 crud mobil... after a bad day at work, hold him up for 10 seconds taking primary on a roundabout to keep safe, ... tries to door you 50 yards later when he is in yet another queue.

Agree with most of the above, but nobody mentioned the umpteen signs announcing to motorists road works and blocked lanes ahead .... firmly placed in the middle of the adjacent shared pavement

Yesterday...potholes/craters some with gravel erupting and other cyclists. Drivers were all surprisingly sensible, helped by there being many fewer thanks to half term
