The Glue that binds us together.
Time to fit battery monitor. See how much power we have, and see what power individual item are using.

Will hit 1,000 miles on our trip today. Getting 39.1 mpg. Last night tonight in Glasgow. Currently in Dundee and taking the boss to some natural sea pools locally. Had two nights in Laide prior to this visiting my cousin.

Definately not lowering the van. The front guards are taking a battering bottoming out on some of the roads, never mind speed bumps. Another 3 1/2 hours driving and some swearing when MrsF goes 'go down here to a swim spot'. It was not on my plan. Ended up down a street that was a dead end and too tight to three point so had to reverse all the way back. To add to the difficulty, bloody google took us through a caravan park to another swim spot.

Moral of the story, research where MrsF decides to go swimming, it's not always van compatible.

1,275 miles done at 39.1 mpg. Had to refit the front guards and clean up the 'feathered' edges from scraping the roads. Used some wider plastic washers on the self tapping screws as the impact pulled a few through the guards (there were quite large fitting holes in the guards). Van emptied and hoovered out, bed system folded away, and the seats are back in. And repeat in two weeks, although a little nearer at 2 -1/2 hours away at Shell Island, Llanbedr
