Getting quicker at packing the van. Gear out of garage onto drive, van's chairs and table into garage, bed folded out, kit loaded, bed set up, all in an hour. Only clothes, food, fridge and pillows to load in the morning. All done in an hour.

Do you not find that beds a little high??

Its probably a similar height to the RIB bed in mine. Perhaps slightly highter, but not much in it.

Went AWOL this week Visit bro', other family and stuff in the West.
Going East tomorrow.
Vanessa gets some rest for a few weeks and I do some work.

They are a little high but we manage. It sits above the rear seats (folded). This isn't a full time camper so there are compromises. Advantage is it's a wide bed platform and very comfy on Thermarest Mondokings.

It's DC to DC fitting day,, worst bit will be getting the wiring through the van, should keep me going for a few hrs,

But some folk think this is great. All on top of each other. It does mean a 10 minute walk to where we are though and we aren't near the bar.

The site is massive and I just don't get why people cram into two fields near the main complex ? We'll you do, they are lazy. We've been to Shell about 9 times and usually try a different location. All depends on weather and wind.

Looks like we are packing up in the rain tomorrow so will do some packing this evening. We've had quite a bit of sun so I've got charge back into the battery after running it to 40% yesterday with the cool box, due to heavy cloud.

Preventive maintenance. Cleaned out the upstream pipe on the vivaro. Was not completely but was a bit restricted ,all clear now. So hopefully all good. Fresh oil and filters changed. All ready for Holland.
