‘Miners Path’
Altofts
Wakefield

A Bridleway from NewLands Lane to Birkwood Road, by Carringtons Farm/riding stables
(which can be made out when the hedges finish)
A lot of the Yorkshire stone flags have been lifted & stolen, just broken ones left
(they extended for almost 1/2 mile)

Looking at the 'personal life', I knew both uncles (Malcolm & David), & the cousin (Dean) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Ramsden_(athlete)
Malcolm was a local builder, I went to secondary school with his son, Lee
David ran a couple of the local pubs (Deans dad)

Given the nature of the location, & difficulty accessing the plaque, this page shows it in greater detail; https://forgottenwomenwake.com/denise-ramsden/
