Peak physical condition. Perfect proportions. There is not an aspect of me that isn’t beautiful. Brad Pitt and George Clooney have posters of me on their bedroom wall.

Those lucky few here that have met me will vouch for that. They might not admit it as they might worry their partners might catch a glimpse of their adoration. Some may also play down my beauty in honour of my renowned modesty.

Larry Duff - 6'1", the face of Tony Curtis, the body of Schwarzenegger, and the voice of Richard Burton.

Postman - 6'4", swooned at by every housewife on his round, and snaps knicker elastic at 100 paces when in his Royal Mail shorts...

User76 - 6'0", Huge Ackman lookalike, so manfully rugged even Drago feels a touch effeminate in his company.

Superleeds - 6'2", Anthony Newley clone, so beautiful the more mature women swoon at the sight of him.

Numbnuts - 6'0", devilishly handsome Jon Anderson lookalike.

ReelLeeHimself - 6'1", rugged, Viking like, Ernest Borgnine clone.

Danzac - 6'2", bearded and beautiful, like Pierce Brosnan in Die Another Day.

Cosmicbike - 6'1", manliest moustache in Christendom.

Deptford Marmoset - 6'+ - Slim and sylph like, very modest about his great beauty.

Threevok - 6'2", Eighth wonder of the world.

Markymark - 6'2", beautiful beyond belief, famed throughout the land for his humbling modesty.

Soltydog - 6'5", the Dwayne Johnson of our humble organisation.

Well i can honestly say that i've never come across a gathering of people that has so many 6 footers and above in it! Reading the posts on the subject of CC members height,i'd say that around 50% of you claim to be 6ft or above. Surely the percentage of 6ft plus folk in Britain will be around 10 to 15 percent,or something like that. Take the cycle club i am/was a member of for example. We'd meet on a Wednesday morning,with around 20 riders turning up. There was only one rider taller than me(I'm er hum! around the 6ft 1 mark). All the rest were shorter,many being much shorter! How come CC has so many tall members,compared to the rest of the population?!

I would think you were just in the wrong club, it's well known that the percentage of tall cyclists is far higher than in the general population, it's the same thing with all those poor pro cyclists that suffer from asthma.

Well with over 40,000 members there's bound to be quite a lot of tall people, I bet if you started a Small but Beautifully Formed (Shortarse) club it would elicit similar numbers.

Yes but surely 50 percent of those members won't really be 6ft or above. I think some folk need to get their tape measures out again. Take me for example. I was a 6 footer for decades and probably still was up till a few years ago. Then my height was measured. They broke the news to me gently,but i'm still having counselling and having night sweats for being told i'm only a five ft plus footer.
