If you're a fan of TCP and it's history, there's a special edition of Life in the Peloton going through the origin story of TCP with Daniel and Lionel that's well worth a listen.
Although it's not the first time I've heard it, the anecdote about Lionel thinking that Ciro Scognamiglio was a character drawn from Daniel's imagination always raises a smile.

:laugh:that's entirely understandable!

Is this one free? [and are there any Ozzies presenting it? :-/ ]

Forza TCP!!!

I listened to a recent one and actually found it quite unpleasant. Clearly they’re very sharp and insightful etc but I thought they were unkind.

What or who were they talking about?

Daniel has an occasional conversational style with his junior hires that reminds me of a previously abusive manager, but I'm minded to dismiss that as coincidence. Lionel once tried to get a friend of mine thrown off a distant relative of this place for asking about a device that Lionel considered to be a scam but I put that down to a bit of youthful over exuberance on his part.

They initially missed Richard's qualities as a chair and moderator (views on G aside) but I think they're a reasonably balanced set up now.

Didn't expect to see those two words together...

I find Daniel intensely irritating. It really misses Richard and I'm glad Lionel is back too. I did enjoy the TdF overage sans Daniel so much more.

I'm not surprised that some people do - but *I* think he's brilliant! A breath of fresh air compared to most sports pundits; knowledgable, multi-lingual. Able to cover both sides of contentious issues (drugs, sports-washing et al).
Brings in cultural local references without the Ned/David "oh aren't we sooo whimsical, talking about whatever we fancy!"
