There junk. Fact.

I've done hundreds of thousands of miles off the roads and every time I've been let down it's been Toyota and nissan.
Land rover has never let me down so I know what's right thanks.
You must be hundreds of years old driving at 20mph on real dirt roads👿

One individual's personal experience doesn't create a fact.

But you are projecting your own experience and opinion across every example made. Hence all Toyotas are junk and all Land Rovers are sublime.

Many (many) would disagree, hence "opinion" rather than "fact".
My opinions are based on the facts .
When you get stuck in a navarra for 18hrs only to be recovered by a land rover because nothing else could get there I will stick with the facts presented before me at the time

So the "facts" are that your Toyotas and Nissans have been junk (or ones you have been associated with). That doesn't make it a fact that all Toyotas and Nissans are junk.

We had 7 Nissan's, 4 of them blew engines. 3 had chassis replacement due to weakness at 6 months old...
The land rovers kept going despite being 10years older.....

As for the Toyota's they kept smashing themselves to bits.
2 replaced under warranty and 3 refunded in full at less than 3 years old.

The new land rovers we replaced them with are still going.....

@Roseland triker - I would love to see pictures of your Nissans, Toyotas and Landys. I have driven all three in Africa, so the pics will bring back happy memories.

Tell the world it's wrong - and the annual reliability surveys, and the warranty surveys 😊

My son had a Toyota company pickup on contract hire. It spent more time on the back of recovery lorries than actual driving and he handed it back as a safety hazard. He had one or two scary times when it cut out suddenly in the fast lane of English motorways. The main agents could not find what was causing the problem but since he handed it back we have no idea what they did with it.

When you have a company vehicle you don't care about it. And drive them like there is no tomorrow as you will not be paying for the repairs.

Absolute junk.
Having had many 4x4 over the years the most unreliable vehicles I've had have been Toyota followed by nissan.

Land rover wins every time, they just keep on going. Never been let down by my land rovers even when it's raining

My 200 Tdi Disco did just, we sold it on with around 236,000 miles, went green laning in it, dragged our caravan all over the UK & Europe, dragged shed loads of cars/caravans off muddy fields, even more satisfying when it's the "you don't need a 4x4 brigade", it never let us down.

As well as the above, the Isuzu Trooper's had a hushed up fault of lunching the 3.0 diesel engines, no warranty, most owners had to fit a 2.8 diesel aftermarket conversion in order to have a functioning car, the previous 3.1 diesel was bullet proof
