We had 7 Nissan's, 4 of them blew engines. 3 had chassis replacement due to weakness at 6 months old...
The land rovers kept going despite being 10years older.....

As for the Toyota's they kept smashing themselves to bits.
2 replaced under warranty and 3 refunded in full at less than 3 years old.

The new land rovers we replaced them with are still going.....

Straight up question, I'm not taking the pee or trying to be sarcastic, I'd genuinely like to know the answer, but if you had three pile of poo Nissans what made you buy any more?

This thread sounds typical of many motoring stories where some bemoan how crud something is...but have probably never driven one, let alone owned one

You perhaps do but not everybody.
Always care for work wagons here as without them there's no work.
Assigned vehicles to staff members is the best way. We used to have competitive wear and tear competition in which you would get prizes for maximum tyre mileage etc.
At £120 per day in fuel alone for each vehicle this adds up and keeps people in check.

Regarding the vehicle I mentioned. Since he was the boss he had to keep it immaculate.
I used to deal with a lot of sales reps and many of them got pay bonuses for keeping their vehicles in good condition as it enhanced the company image.

It was contracted

So all bought at the same time for fleet use, that makes sense now.
