Has Brailsford ok now ? i know he had health issues but its gone a bit quiet as i would have thought he would have been a bit more proactive given the lack of results

He seems to have recovered. Stepping back a bit from leading the cycling team has probably eased some of the pressure. Different kind of pressure I suppose with the football etc.

To be fair to Rodriguez thought he did ok yesterday...got himself into the top ten,think he's 8th/9th.Possible top 5 for him ?

Missed a lot of this race to be honest with the Vuelta on.

I don't think Ineos are very supportative of him wanting to keep a cleat in the mountain biking camp. They wanted to turn him into a GT team leader he's quite happy winning one day races and the odd stage WC and gold medal here and there in muti disciplines.

I wonder if he's taken a look at Pog, Jonas and Remco and figured he's probably only ever going to be an also ran he were to commit to GT General Classification and that will take up his entire life but that he can (and does) win in CX, MTB plus some Classics and so on.
