The Lego Thread.

My friend has given me a huge box of assorted Lego, mostly Lego Friends. I’ve just about finished sorting it. It used to belong to her daughter. There’s all sorts of useful stuff in there.
I will be building all sorts of stuff now, from scratch. Rumour Has it that I will be getting a Lego train set from Santa.
I can build something to go with it.

Has anyone had any nice Lego sets for Christmas? I’ve had two Friends sets, a Lego cargo train and a Christmas train. I’ve also got some extra track.
The cargo train has been whizzing around the lounge floor.

We’ve had a Lego Christmas at our place. I gave my eldest son Lego Chopper, my youngest son Lego Jaws set (from China as it wasn’t available here) and I received the Lego Bouguet of wild flowers. Were all going to be busy.

No Lego build over Christmas but the various lit ones added to the decorations akthough the tree meant the lighthouse had to be relocated behind the TV. Its case did allow for a new location atop for a somewhat elderly wooden robins bird house decoration

Very fragile apparently. Might save on frustration to have a tiny brush and a bottle of Mek on hand

I’ve never built Lego flowers this is my first time. Would you recommend me getting Mek?

If you find you need it the one I linked to can be sourced from model shops/online or eBay. Warning it should be used in a well ventilated area

Still working my way through the Lego.Technic Scania lorry with pneumatic JCB. Daughter got me the Lego Monster Book of Monsters which looks like a fun build. She intends to steal it once built :-)

Minerals set joined together by using a plate instead of tiles on the exposed rear parts of the centre part. That then allowed the Light my Bricks Docks to be located on the rear of the centre part and linked by a 5cm cable. Panels used to act as an cable cover. Full extent of those npot neccessary but done for visual symmetry.
