***up-date***

Just got back from the hospital, where I had my 2 week check up.

The cast is off  but the doctor said I shouldn't ride for another 3-4 weeks

My elbows not doing too badly. Won't fully straighten yet (which should improve with some stretches) but no pain anymore.

Glad you are healing ... on the straightening of the arm .... I would say mine took about 6 months I would say to fully straighten.

i have just had my first lot of physio on my broken elbow, shattered wrist ouch but the exercises she's given me are good but she's also estimated a 12 week program (i'm hoping to go back to work after 6 weeks though... i've been off now coming up two months) it has driven me mad....

Yay! That's great news.
Why doesn't physio start sooner? Is it a resource thing or a medical thing?
Good luck, and hopefully the 3 weeks (lets face it, if they said 3 or 4 weeks, you're gonna be back on the bike in 3.. ) will fly by.

I guess they have to wait for the bones to heal fully before they start the physio, it has only been 2 weeks.

They said 3 or 4 weeks. I was think more like 2

Yes, squeezing your balls gently will be excellent exercise.

Very well Doctor Chuffy, if you insist ;)

Sorry to hear that Corvette, I think I got off lightly compared to your injuries. Get well soon.
