The first ones are gorgeous!!

What about the cherry red ones? Too red, or quite nice, would you say?🤔

Those Barker shoes look fantastic. Go ahead and order a pair and be sure to post a photo or two when you first wear them.

I tried to apply the discount code when hoping to buy them, but it wouldn't work. The site has a chat helpline, with a 'woman' called Sofiya. I messaged them telling about my problem. Sofiya was constantly online, unlike some chat helplines I've contacted. My thoughts are is Sofiya an actual human being, or that AI thingy, as surely no one is manning such chatlines at this time of day/night!🤔 😏 Anyway, 'she' sent me a new code, saying I have to wait for an email off them to let me know the new code is ready to use. I'll wait and see what happens.

@Accy cyclist. I urge you to exercise caution here. That seems a very strange response from the company and my initial thoughts are that perhaps this is a dodgy ‘clone’ website. Please do check and be absolutely confident if you do decide to proceed to place an order for the Keaton shoes.👞
Also, in my opinion the returns terms and conditions don’t seem very customer friendly.

Just as an FYI, "Sofiya" isn't real...

Most (almost all) websites with that functionality have a bot you have to break past before you get through to a human (if they have a chat team).

Every time I have a frustration as a customer and can't easily get through to a real human to solve it, I make an offering to the gods and say a little prayer for that business to fail. Ironic really as my autism means I usually hate speaking on the phone.

I understand your pain. I work in a complaints department and I've seen the transcripts generated by our chat bot, and the subsequent human interactions. It's hard to know which is worse really.

We're probably quite close to fully automated online customer services which actually work properly, but right now we're still very much at the "Browser Wars" stage of the 90s/early 00s. Eventually that dust will settle, Skynet will take full control and everything will be fine.
