Anyway i have had to go to Primark to get some canvas sort of trainers,my slippers were trying to kill me.They have gone all baggy and large so my feet have been slipping out. With this neuropathy getting worse i need good tight fitting footwear or i will go down and hurt myself.

As I’ve said before the sweater tucked in side your trousers looks ridiculous it’s like your granny dressed you.

At least he hasn’t got his braces over the top. Plus showing someone else dressed that way doesn’t make it ok. I could post a picture of someone wearing a bin liner but doesn’t mean it looks good.

I looked 'neuropathy' up after reading your post Mr P. Your description of it read as similar to my lower leg and feet problem I've had since last September. Whenever I go to a GP regarding my problem they think it's blood pressure related, but now I've been on blood pressure medication for must be six months and having an unrelated lung capacity test last week which showed a healthy blood pressure reading, my lower legs and feet are still swollen, itchy and painful at times. The next time I see a GP I'm going to mention neuropathy to him/her.

The 'lemon' gaberdine ones need shortening. For some reason Cordings make them with a 35 inch inside leg, without a £15 shortening to your length option. All the Cordings trousers I've bought over the years were sold with a shortening option, so why there isn't one with those I don't know. Anyway, it gives me an excuse to try out a new(ish) tailor shop in Accrington town centre, which has a good reputation I've been told. I'll take those in, along with the Kit Blake wool trousers I received yesterday, but haven't opened yet. They also came unhemmed.

I took both pairs in to that tailor shop yesterday.

Seeing as my right leg is slightly shorter than my left leg due to cycling related leg and hip breaks, I asked the tailor if he could hem them to a 33 inch left leg and a 32.5 inch right leg. With a straight hem on the lemon gaberdine trousers and a cuff/turn up on the chalk stripe wool ones. It's only a slight detail, but on looking down at my various trousers I do see a slight difference in the break of either leg on my shoes or boots. I doubt anyone else would notice, but I sometimes do which bugs me. I just hope the tailor gets it right and doesn't get the inseam lengths the wrong way round! Anyway, I wrote it down for him, so what more can I do!

He said it'll cost £30 for both pairs to be hemmed and they'll be ready in 3 days time, though seeing as there's no rush, I said I'd pick them up in a week's time. He asked if I wanted to pay there and then, or on collection. I said I prefer on collection, NOT adding that when they haven't yet been paid there's an incentive to do the job well and do it on time!🧐
