Itd interesting to see if the Intercity 2 is as decent a ride as its Intercity Disc 9 predecessor.

Interesting. Frame looks like the old Intercity, and folds the opposite way from the disc models, i.e the catch is on the other side.
Also the telescopic stem/steerer seems to have a larger adjustment range.

And, it's a little hard to tell from the photos but it seems that the bars now fold inside the two halves of the frame. The bars pass in front of the front forks on the far side:

It was a downside of the ID9 IMHO that the bars fold outside as it makes the folded package a bit wider and wastes a little space. The original non-disc Intercity did fold the bars inside and I always assumed the disc models didn't because of the wider forks.

From the photo however it looks like they telescope the bars further inside the tube so that they now clear the brakes. Clever.

There's no spec sheet yet but it looks like the only other substantive change is Sora to Microshift gears but still 1x9 and it's still got Tektro hydro discs.
