Due to the typical “More money than sense brigade” comments being used continually this week again, in the interest of balance, I wonder what the reciprocal is?

So far I can only come up with the following two (forum friendly ones at least), but keen to hear what others think is the fair equivalent term?

1. Less Money than Moans
2. Got the Money, but prefer Martyrdom.

There must be better options out there...
More hock-its than sprockets?

Got to be honest, it's not how I would measure success, but it takes all sorts.

I fully agree with that.

Some people are SO poor: the only thing they have is money.

My grandmother worked for a tailor's and was very fond of saying 'cut your cloth accordingly' with regard to being shrewd/careful with money. Another one was 'one man's meat is another man's poison' - it all comes down to taste and circumstances.

I struggle with the concept of wasting money.

Can't take it with you, and simply having loads of it in the bank is pointless

Moneys only purpose is to be spent. Assuming the bills are paid and there's a bit aside for emergency then buy WTF you want.

Admittedly not things I'd choose to buy, but if it gives the buyer pleasure, and they can afford to pay then why not?

Disposable income is just that.. disposable.

Because “waste” is not simply asking whether they should or should not use their money this way. It is saying that the money would be better spent elsewhere, and if pleasure is the only goal they can get more pleasure for the same elsewhere.

I would challenge the idea that pleasure alone justifies purchases. We would all only buy coke and hookers on that basis.
