Last Saturday was my birthday and I was treated to a day at the West Somerset Railway. Here are a few from the day:

Recently restored Beyer Peacock built Hymek No. D7017 standing outside the engine shed at Williton with Class 33 Crompton built No. D6566 stood behind. Both locomotives are owned by the Diesel & Electric Preservation Group (DEPG)

Was in Yorkshire a few weeks back visiting the best mates, and we visited the NRM, first time in a few years for me. The newly-reopened Station Hall is fabulous. I forgot they had Evening Star, I used to have the Hornby version…

Don't think there's a pic of one of the OG Shinkansen Type 0 trains on the thread…

You absolutely, positively, definitely won't get chocolate out of this. No change there then…

We also had the afternoon tea on the Countess of York. Highly recommended, it was fabulous.

i remember one in the mid 80s at IIRC Sheffield (although it could have been Leicester) which on pressing the chosen bar and réfund buttons at the same time duly obliged on both counts.

It’s a fairly regular task to empty the slot machines at the NRM, most have been blocked off but a few can’t be effectively stopped up.

I'm not sure when they were lifted/bridges demolished
They're on the 1937 - 1961 (1/25,000) OS map
I had a look at a 1976 OS map l have, & it's lifted on that
