Sorry but I'm definitely out. Achilles is nowhere near ready for a long ride

It'll soon be summer
I worked out some time ago that Virgin do these promotional splurges on the London-Birmingham route, and you get travel into London thrown in for free from all over the south-east. It's always worth giving it a try, but this particular case is one of the best deals I've seen.

Having picked up my train tickets last night, although the reservation part shows Euston to Coventry for the 14:43 departure, as the other ticket part just shows Dover to Coventry, that means we can get an HS1 train leaving Dover at any time in the morning, rather than waiting for 12:45 one supposedly to give you enough time to go on the tube from St Pancras to Euston to make the connection.

There's 1 train per hour leaving Dover to St Pancras at XX:45.

I'll be on a low speed clockwork train back to SE London. For reference these leave Dover Priory at 05 and 45. See y'all at HPC

It's looking like a good evening for a bike ride! Have fun everyone!

I'd stay awake and wave you past my house but last time I did that for a Dover ride it took 2 hours to get from HPC to my house! :hello:

Cheers guys. I'm sure the achilles will be fine and I've got two weeks of R&R away from the bike. See you all on the second of the Southwold rides.
