Morning.
Brrr. Change in wind direction to northerly means it's about 10C cooler today. Still a lovely sunny day though.
Plan is put back ensuite cupboard where shower pump is housed. I'd taken it apart to get to pump to fit replacement which is working a treat.
Later a weights session.

Morning all :okay:

MrsD has a hairdresser's appointment at 11am, so we'll walk down to town and have lunch in the Star afterwards.

It's the West Somerset Railway's 'Spring Steam Spectacular' this weekend; lots of activity glorious weather and several visiting engines. Should be very busy!

The other day I picked the youngest grand kid up from school - along with his cousin who is a couple of year older
I don;t really know the cousin that well but the little one is used to me

When I got to the car I opened the widows and sunroof - and unfolded the door mirrors using the "magic button" on the remote thingy for the car

Both kids were impressed

when I got them home I did the same in reverse to close them all

The cousin was "Wow - you did it again!!!!)

our little one knows me better and just pointed to my hand and said "he just pressed that button on his remote"

cynical and observant and thinking - can I teach kids or what!!

I like kids when they're at the age that they believe that, when you click your fingers and the traffic lights change, that it was you changing them..
That and that the purple tubing alongside motorways is to pump emergency chocolate from the Cadbury's factory to London if they're running out!

Excellent lunch in the Star - Quiche, new taters and salad washed down with 3 pints of Fuller's ESB.
Had intended to walk straight back home, but as we walked past Pebbles tavern there was live music playing - accordions and violin - so we popped in for a moment to listen.
Ended up staggering out 90 minutes and 2 pints later after what was one of the most enjoyable sessions I can remember.
Even got the band to play the Captain Pugwash theme - which was brilliant!

3 pints of ESB followed by another couple of pints, respect. 😎
