Just popped out for a short wander round the town. Wish I hadn’t bothered as I just ended up irritated by other people taking up the whole pavement. I am always the one who seems to have to step off the pavement into the road and you never even get a thanks or any acknowledgement. Maybe I’m just getting cranky, but I find manners severely lacking nowadays.

Been there, and yes I alway end up in the road

I was just about to go out and put the bin out and I thought I better check it was the grey one

I had forgotten about the Bank Holiday
so the bin day is Friday this week

If they've their head glued to a handset, that's what I'm doing more of. Same as if they're talking to each other, but seem to feel they own the pavement.

Good morning all.
A sunny start to the day here. It's due to be a bit warmer today, up to 16⁰.
Our son wants to show off his house today, they have finished all the decorating and the flooring is downstairs we are travelling over to his place for the grand tour, and then going out for lunch. It takes 40 minutes to get to Amersham from our place, as long as the M25 is behaving.

Morning again. It’s bright and sunny again and cool, but not quite as cold as the forecast said. Around 4 at the moment. This weather has been great but the farmers will be getting worried. The barley and wheat is looking very poor.
